Bringing a beverage brand concept into commerce.
Role:
Creative Director & UX/UI Designer
Markets:
Direct-to-Consumer
Industry:
Beverage
I partnered with the Daydreamer team to lead copywriters and developers in translating brand strategy into a cohesive digital experience for a new D2C beverage brand.
Entering a fast-growing category, the brand needed to communicate value, educate consumers, and drive conversions through a scalable e-commerce platform.
THE CHALLENGE.
Daydreamer was launching into a crowded wellness beverage landscape where product benefits and purchasing requirements could be unclear. The business needed a scalable e-commerce platform to simplify decision-making and establish credibility.
RESULTS & IMPACT.
The high-performing DTC website helped the business counter national declines in alcohol sales by driving entry into a new beverage market.
Key outcomes included:
Expanding brand awareness beyond the Midwest
Scaling product availability nationwide
Driving in-person conversions at the Iowa taproom
Accelerating adoption of a new product line to support long-term diversification

DESIGNED FOR EASE.
I led the design of a consumer-first digital experience emphasizing clarity, approachability, and ease of use.
Key initiatives included:
Defining brand messaging balancing playfulness with transparency
Designing a UX/UI system for intuitive product discovery
Creating educational purchase flows to build first-time buyer confidence
Translating operational constraints into clear shopping paths
